We partook of a brew first before starting work, i was due in the Bury Transport Museum, education room at 10:00 hours for a Bury Steam Locomotive Co. Ltd. board meeting.
Len and Jonathan decided to catch the next train to Summerseat Station to re-install a station platform lamp head which had been repaired previously.
The bulb contacts and wires were reterminated and tested in our workshop prior to the re-installation.
I returned from the BSL Co. Ltd. board meeting for some lunch with Len and Jonathan, before leaving to go home to meet some of my friends and cadge a lift to Old Trafford to watch the Man U FA Cup match against Wigan Athletic, it was an even first half before the usual score which we used to get from Old Trafford when we were in the Premier League, 4 - 0.
Back next week, lets hope it is a bit warmer.
