On investigation it was found out that the fault had cleared itself or someone else had cleared the fault unbeknown to us.
On discovering the fault was no longer there, they assisted Simon install the lighting in the ELR new offices on Bury Bolton Street.
John and myself volunteered again to help out on the Thomas train, we signed on and donned our new Thomas staff tabards, took up our positions on platform four and waited for Thomas to arrive at about 09:45.
The crowds had built up and the queue went back as far as the steps leading down from the booking office on platform three/four.
We did manage a break in between Thomas trains but it was all go until about 15:00 hours when the queues diminished, the weather behaved itself more or less with more sunshine and a few light showers.
Back to our usual work next week.
