
Barry the ELR electrician joined us in the workshop he required some help in installing an electrical cable to power a new pizza oven in the Trackside kitchen.
On investigation it was found that there maybe some asbestos in the roof, so we stopped work and will await confirmation on what the substance is.

The fire alarm call points were tested in Bury Bolton Street Staion and the results logged.
Two extension cables were fixed and tested on platform three/four in Bury Bolton Street Station ready for a wedding taking place next Saturday.

We showed Barry another job we had been asked to do in the undercroft installing some lighting in two steel cabins, Barry will order the correct fittings to be used in this job.

Lunch was taken outside our workshop with super cakes provided by Jack.

We have had a large quantity of used fluorescent tubes upstairs in our workshop and a few faulty LED tubes, we counted about 280 fluorescent tubes and eight LED tubes all to be disposed of by a company Barry will contact.
They were all bundled up outside our our workshop ready for collection.
