The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 27-12-2015.

:D Well at least the weather had improved somewhat from the deluges some people have had to put up with, the sun decided to come out, although the solitary train running was 45407, travelling from Bury to Heywood only, due to the amount of debris and water damage along the line to Rawtenstall.

I was joined by Jonathan, Len and John, Clive is due back shortly from his sojourn down under, Jonathan reassembled the Smiths clock, connected it up to the mains and put the clock on test.

John & Len fitted light units to two of our spare canopy light units, they wired then up to take LED tubes, these will be spares for BBS canopy lighting.

I finished off painting four carriage plug covers, after which we took down to the C & W shed along with two refurbished carriage plug leads.

We took the opportunity to go across to Baron Street Works to have a look at the completed Flying Scotsman engine, lets hope it goes as well as it looks, it's cost enough!

We had some lunch back in our workshop and then tided up the workshop and storing stock upstairs in the workshop.

We finished off the day with a final brew and a chocolate roll each before heading off home.

Finally a replacement flood light was sourced for fitting at a later date above the Bury Standard Four Group shed.
Deep in the heart of Swinetown.
