We all had a brew outside the workshop before recovering the newly refurbished lamp heads from storage.

Ming loaded up the trolley with the lamp heads plus our tools and a ladder, then myself, Jonathan, John and Ming caught the 10:00 train to Ramsbottom Station to fit the lamp heads.
Clive, Peter, Dave and Colin investigated why the Station clock tower had two of the four clock faces had stopped, they later found out that the gearbox shaft had sheared off stopping any movement of the two clock faces.

After fitting the refurbished lamp heads at Ramsbottom Station we returned with another four to refurbish, it was then back to our workshop at BBS and lunch in the warm sunshine.

Clive stripped down the clock gearbox to try to establish if a new part could be fitted.
The final job of the day was to fix a fault on a light fitting in a storage truck belonging to BS4G.
We shall be back next Sunday.
