Today the electrical volunteers consisted of myself, Clive, John, Jonathan, Colin, Sophie, Peter and Ming, we all had a brew and a breakfast bun before starting work.
We recovered the refurbished lamp heads and a further four lamp heads which required painting from storage near our workshop.Colin and Sophie painted four of the lamp heads which we had recovered last Sunday
Some assembly work was required before most of the team caught the 10:00 train up to Rawtenstall Station to fit five lamp heads and recover another four lamp heads to be refurbished.
Clive and myself later fitted new retaining screws to a number of fittings, then after lunch the recently painted lamp heads could be handled and were re-assembled.
The rest of the team then arrived back from Ramsbottom Station with another four lamp heads to refurbish.
We then carried on with assembling the four lamp heads which were painted this morning these will be installed after the Thomas weekend next week.
All our tools paint brushes etc. were then packed away in the workshop and we made our way home.
