The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 21-07-2024.

Today I was joined by, Jonathan, John, Colin, Sophie, Dave B, Ming and Peter, we had a brew first then tested the fire alarm call points in Bury Bolton Street Station, all was well and the results logged. 
We were later joined by Barry the ELLR full time electrician, in our workshop who explained to us the problems with the car park and Station platform lights at Heywood Station.
Myself, John, Ming and Dave B decided to catch the train up to Ramsbottom Station to take down more station lamp heads for refurbishing.
We then made our way back to BBS, unloaded all the lamp heads.
Colin and Sophie had been busy painting the stripped down and sanded lamp heads from last Sunday.
Lunch was taken in the glorious sunshine before we started to strip down the lamp heads we had recovered from Ramsbottom Station.
Some more work needs to be done on the lamps were retaining screws have come loose.
All the lamp head components were safely stored away ready for painting next Sunday.
