We tested out the fire alarm call points in Bury Bolton Street Station, everything was OK and the results logged.
Barry the ELR electrician joined us after our efforts last Sunday to try to install a new cable to supply the electricity to the new pizza oven in the Trackside kitchen.

The problems we encountered have now been resolved and we proceeded to install the new cable to enable Barry to complete the installation of the double pizza oven this week.

A problem on an extension lead used to charge the carriage batteries at BBS Station which Barry had spotted was shown to us to sort out, once we had finished off the installation of the pizza cable in the Trackside.

We had lunch el fresco in the sunshine outside our workshop, with coffee supplied by the ELR.
The carriage charging leads were then tackled after asking the BBS Station Master to put a block on platforms two and three to enable us to effect a repair on the charging cables.

The Bury Standard 4 Group asked us to PAT test a number of model railway control units which was done and the units returned to BS4.

We shall back next Sunday for more electrical sorties.
