Electrical volunteers' report Sunday 28/01/24

Quite a few of us today: Jonathan, Alan, Jack, Dave3 Stephen, Peter, Dave2, myself.
We distributed some keys. Anyone of us who still needs a standard railway padlock key or our workshop door key, please let Alan or myself know.
I sorted through some keys in our keysafe and put the keys for the clocks together (rawtenstall foyer, platform 3/4 drum, platform 2 drum & trackside, tower clock on Bolton Street)
Then back to the scaffolding tower to finish off the emergency lighting on the stairs and over-bridge.
Lunch time. Quite a squeeze in our workshop! No cake I hear you cry. Dead right!
Back to the stairs and all lamps were tested. There always has to be one that wouldn't jive. We thought it was bad batteries but turned out to be a duff charger. We managed to locate a spare and installed and tested it.
We need to have a regular test, like for the fire alarm(s).
Another brew. Tidy up and home.
