ELECTRICAL VOLUNTEERS REPORT SUNDAY 7th FEBRURY

I came in on Saturday. I sanded down and painted the three light fittings from under the canopy at Rammy.
On Sunday there was me, Clive and John. We tested the fire alarms as usual. We re- assembled the fittings that I had painted yesterday, we put LED tubes in them and tested them.
It had been reported to us that the cover was hanging off a 5 foot light fitting above the ramp that goes up from the level crossing to platform 3 at BBS. There are two of these fittings. We got the RO to put a block on the line as we put up the ladder and took down both fittings. We took them to our shop, cleaned them and converted them to LEDs. They don’t need painting as they are plastic. We then fixed them back in place as the RO put a block on the line.
After dinner, we then did the same job with the 6 foot fitting at the top of the ramp at the end of platform 4.
We had a final brew and then knocked off.
