ELECTRICAL VOLUNTEERS REPORT SUNDAY 25th OCTOBER 2015

The fire alarms were tested as usual.

Me, Len, Clive and John took the scaffolding across the line and erected it on platform 3 & 4. We installed and connected the two remaining lamp post heads on top of the lamp posts.

We then completed the fixing of new earthing points on the lamp posts.

To stop the heads from swiveling round in the wind, we drilled holes through the tops of the posts and put some self tapping screws in.

The lamps were tested and found to be satisfactory.

The time clock was then set so the lamps will switch on and off automatically for the winter.

That was it for another day.
