

Clive wired up a photo-cell with a two metre long mains lead ready for one of the other jobs to be done today.
The Trackside clock and drum clock on platform 3/4 where reset to BST and checked for accuracy at Bury Bolton Street Station, then the train was boarded to Ramsbottom Station to reset the station clock there.
When the team arrived at Rammy the Station clock had already been reset to BST, the clock was then checked for accuracy and the next train caught back to BBS.

The Trackside fire alarm call points along with Bury Bolton Street Station call points were both tested and the results recorded in the log books.
A refurbished fire alarm call point was then fitted in the Gents toilet on platform two, this was to replace a call point which had been not been working correctly. The call point was tested to ensure it was working correctly.

We then turned our attention to fitting a photo-cell to control the platform lights on platform 3/4 at BBS.
We took some measurements and obtained a 110v drill and a fourteen inch long masonry drill to drill from the outside of the Disabled toilet into the electrical cubicle.
We will have to obtain a longer masonry drill as we appear to be about four inches short of breaking through to the electrical cubicle. We will try again next week with a metre long drill which Clive has at home.
The photo-cell was affixed to the wall ready for wiring up to the time clock next week once we have drilled through the wall of the disabled toilet.

Lunch was then taken in the open air for the first time this year, with a brew and a piece of sponge cake provided by John, an ASDA special.
We then turned our attention to doing more tests on the Smiths speedometer for The Bury Standard 4 Group engine 80097.
With the refurbished speedo head it appears that the new pointer fitted to the moving coil meter is a little to heavy, altering the sensitivity of the meter.

With that a final brew was had before heading off home.
