Quick flick through Realtime Trains this evening/morning and I turned up with this outward and return working from the ELR to Derby, to Crewe and back... is there a Diesel Gala due? :twisted:

Think someone in a planning office is having fun here:- 40145 out - a very strange route to Derby via Doncaster picking up 56006 at Derby, then another long way round via Burton picking up 47192/712 at Crewe. Just the 13 hours!
D7629 also due in Tuesday, by road. Taking bets on which will be the quicker move.
