Back in work today...
The signals which are being replaced, will be with a single lens LED type capable of showing 3 aspects... The
new CE52 at Castleton South Junction was already in place when I travelled home along the M62 on Monday

.
However... the following semaphore signals will remain

. CE28 (Full Arm) from the Up and Down through, along with CE16 (Short Arm) from the Down Sidings onto the Down Goods Loop. Also ALL the mechanical ground shunt signals (except for CE9 which originally controlled movements from the Up to Down Sidings and CE29 into the Neck) are being retained, but nearly all of them are being
moved anywhere between 5 and 16 metres from the points they protect

... Anyone else see the logic in this part of the plan?
