The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 06-06-2021.

:D Just the two of us in today, Jonathan and myself, Colin went to visit Clive at his house to drop off some of Clive's tools and a power pack. :)

After a swift brew in the workshop we paid a visit to the Bury Standard 4 Group shop and shed to see if the brackets for a light fitting had been done, they had not been done yet.

We then strung out in front our our workshop the Christmas lights from BBS platform two to check for any duff LED bulbs, we have had problems with water ingress with the string of lights.
The duff bulbs were removed and the bulb holders cleaned and dried before packing them away ready for erecting again later in the year.
The same procedure was done for the string of Christmas lights recovered from Rawtenstall Station.

We then took lunch outside of our workshop before collecting the PAT testing equipment and printer along with some tools and made our way to the Bury Transport Museum to PAT test the portable appliances in the museum.
This took us the rest of the afternoon to complete, before returning to our workshop for a final brew before leaving for home. 8)

Back next Sunday for some more enlightening stories.
Deep in the heart of Swinetown.
