I remember that Deltic 50 event, one of the most enjoyable weekends to be out with a camera. Two deltics, 80080, 73129 and the Duke all in one weekend

Despite the timetables diverging somewhat from what actually took place (including 2 services not even showing up on Sunday), it was a good gala. The weather even played ball longer than it was forecast to. I hope the idea of a mixed traction gala catches on, I could really get used to more of this....

A great weekend, with weather reminiscent of the gala 2 years ago. Probably best to forget last years...
