:D Today on the last day of Legends of Steam Gala, the electrical volunteers were, Sophie, Colin, Jonathan, John, Stephen, Dave S and myself.
We all had a brew before watching the departure of the A4 Sir Nigel Gresley and Brittania.

It was decided to test some LED tubes and replace a faulty one in our workshop, with that completed we all headed off to the Bury Standard 4 Group shed to sort out a couples of lighting problems, which resulted in taking one of the fittings back to our workshop for repair and testing.

Lunch was then taken back in the workshop with a brew and some of Mr. Kiplings finest, only one was left, sad.

After lunch we stripped and tested various electrical hand tools, three grinders, two drills and a vacuum cleaner.
The vacuum cleaner was condemended along with a drill, the rest of the tools were passed OK and taken back to their owners. :)

A quick tidy up in the workshop and it was off to watch the big FA Cup match between United and The Pool on the telly and what a match it was :D

Back next week when the two engines from the Gala will be in service again and we shall be up at Rawtenstall Station doing some work.
