Well today was all about medicals at Baron Street in the ELRPS building, first was Dave B, then Peter, John and later myself.The fire alarm call points were checked at BBS station and the results logged.
The rest of us, Jonathan, Colin, Sophia, John, Stephen and myself rounded up all the gear we would need at Rawtenstall and loaded into a trolley.
We caught the 10:00 train to Rawtenstall Station to take down the Christmas lights and to check out the electrical supply cabinet which supplies electricity to the cafe carriage.
The metal electrical cabinet was totally rotten so a new GRP will have to be purchased, measurements were taken and a new cabinet will have to be purchased.
John stayed on the train to be on time for his medical at Baron Street.
Lunch was then taken in the station waiting room.
The Christmas lights were all packed up and the train caught to take us back to Bury Bolton Street Station.
That was it for the day and we all made our way home, back next Sunday to install the new electrical box, with a bit of luck.
