The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 04-12-2022.

8) Today on a very damp day i was joined by Clive and Jonathan, we had a welcome brew before starting work.
Clive wired up three lighting ends for use on converting fluorescent tubes to LED tubes, these where to be used in the Bury Standard 4 Group workshop at the end of platform two at Bury Bolton Street Station,
We converted two eight foot fluorescent fittings to accommodate six foot LED tubes above two of the bays were the machine tools are utilised. :)

Lunch and a brew was had in the BS4G workshop, we then converted another eight fluorescent fitting in bay three to accommodate a six foot LED tube, all the lights were then tested and worked OK.
We have one more fitting to convert in bay three, this will be done next Sunday. :)

Whilst in the BS4G workshop we were asked to have a look at a couple of hand held 240volt electric drills, one did not work at all and will be stripped at a later date, the other drill worked after releasing a speed control button on the drill.
Both will be PAT tested before being put back into use. :P

A final brew was had with mince pies supplied very kindly by Sue Sue.

We shall be back next week with more electrical moments to treasure. 8)
