The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 25-09-2022.

Post by asbibby »

:D Today i was joined by John, Jonathan, where was Clive of India?
We all had a brew before starting work, first task was to re-assemble the five lamp heads which had been refurbished recently.
One of the lamp heads required a new edison screw fitting which was sorted, another lamp head needed a bit of fettling with some of the fixings holding the perspex globe. Some epoxy resin sorted that problem out. :)

The fire alarm call point check was then carried out in Bury Bolton Street Station, all worked OK and the results logged.

Lunch was then taken in our workshop as it was getting a bit chilly outside, looks like we will have to wait till 2023 before we eat El Fresco again.

Harry from the Bury Standard 4 Group brought in for us to test an electrical motor and starter switch for us to test, which was tested OK and returned to BS4G shop. :D

All The lamp heads were tested to ensure they worked OK, one of them needed a new LED corn bulb.

The last job was to look at a bench grinder again from the BS4G workshop, this turned out to be a faulty double throw toggle switch, which will be replaced once we source a spare switch. :)

We had a final brew and some lemon slices provided by Sue Sue. 8)

Jonathan, John and myself won't be in next Sunday, other duties call, back Sunday after next.
Deep in the heart of Swinetown.
