Calling anyone with driving experience. The RSSB would be interested in your thoughts........
A colleague has been commissioned by RSSB to develop a standard set of pictograms (symbols) for labelling train driving equipment in cabs.
This is to ensure that GB specific equipment has the appropriate pictograms available to meet EU regulations.
Working with drivers, we have developed a set of pictograms and now need to test them for usability and confusability to ensure that they are suitable to put forward.
It is important that we are able to get feedback from a range of train drivers, and we would be grateful if you could advertise the survey to any relevant contacts (e.g. operating companies or rolling stock manufacturers).
The survey will be open until 1st May 2016 and is available at the following link:
