Sunday Electrical Volunteers Report 27-5-2012

Saturday - I came in and did some more work on carriage connectors. Cleaned up some 13amp sockets that have been recovered from diesel mess room.

Sunday - There was just myself, Chris and Len. We tested the fire alarms as usual.

Since we were few in number and the weather was brilliant, we decided to go to Rawtenstall and service some more lamp post heads. This involves cleaning the plastic globes, replacing duff light bulbs, lubricating screws with grease and giving the steel tubing a lick of paint.

Eleven lamp post heads are now serviced. There is still enough left for another fine day at Rawtenstall.
