Only four of us today as Alan went to watch Wigan lose 4-2 at Darlington.
First job to find another green shade for the lights in the new cafe extension on platform 3/4. We managed to find one but it's not quite a match. If anyone has a better match, please get in touch. The lamp didn't work so we fixed a loose wire behind the lamp holder.
We investigated a fault on the tunnel lights but had no key to access the fuse box in the pw shed.
More work on the carriage plugs.
I brought the clock back that had been kindly donated by Ray Butcher together with the newly made control box. It's set up on our workbench for soak testing. We called at the joinery shop to see if the clock surround had been repaired. It wasn't ready yet.
And no, I didn't get a cream cake!
