Josh, that is a fantastic idea.

I think info and pics regarding the site have been in short supply, barring the ELR news article, and this is a great way to document progress and keep in peoples minds.

Sometimes Google isn't your friend if there is nothing to be googled in the first place. if Josh can accept contributions of material and is able to keep it regularly updated this could be a most interesting web site.

Well done :!:

Best regards
Martin

Spent ballast or demolition rubble to fill the hole in.

I see.

What needs to be done to get hold of matterial to fill the hole in question? Could rubble be not collected from that old mill that has been torn down on the way to Haywood station? (Idea!)

Bury council will not let tipper trucks go into Baron Street, everything must come br rail.

What about fords demolition?(just up the line from bury, diagonal from the old wood yard) as surely all it would take to get the rubble from there is the right wagons to drop it off after being loaded by mechanical diggers which are on the site.

Is that true?

This make the entire project very difficult and unfeasible. Surely this can be sorted out? Who is involved in project managing this job and who is the council leason?
