A state of the nation meeting is being arranged for late January or February according to the minutes of the last council meeting, you can ask your questions then direct to our management.
Grant Arms in Ramsbottom again probably?

Current State of the (ELR) Nation (at least from Gaffer Bailey's point of view)...

"We're in the s**t and there's no money for 'owt."

That sums it up, really. Unless Mr. V. has an alternative source for the monies to re-vamp Baron Street yard, it will sadly remain a dream for a long while to come.

no wonder the diesel lot are not happy, moving all their equipment down to buckley wells to basically just work out side??

why not start other parts of the plan if you cant get infill?

Late January. Will there be enough ballast to fill the hole from this project?

I would say it will be a sad day when the diesel group finally move to a new shed, seeing as the group have been at Castlecroft since the early days and many fond memories have been had at it.

I think any sad feeling will quickly disolve with the new facilities that dont mean you have to work outside in the wet and cold

Thats so true, imagine it painting in a shed with central heating and a specialist painting area(I hope the new shed has both of these).

Does anybody know if the spent ballast brought in off the metrolink will be used to infill the hole where the new diesel shed will be?
