On a lovely February day we caught the !0:00 train up to Rawtenstall Station, i was joined by, Peter, Jonathan and Stephen, Dave S joined us later after the bus he was waiting of from Bolton did not show up. He caught a later bus to Bury then onto Rawtenstall by another bus, he then joined us in installing and wiring up the new electrical cabinet at Rawtenstall Station. 
We ensured that the power was still disconnected from the main distribution board and then tested the cable to ensure no voltage was present.
The new electrical box was then lined up and marked out on the wall were it was to be mounted, it was then drilled with a 12mm masonry drill to enable new rawl-bolts to be fitted.
The box was then wired up after a bit of a problem with some internal fittings.
Lunch was taken in the sunshine at Rawtenstall.
The electrical supply cable was re-attached to the platform wall using a cable cleat.
We then packed up all our tools and boarded the train back to Bury Bolton Street Station, all our tools were packed away in our workshop and we then made our way home.
Back next Sunday when we will be testing out the electrical cabinet at Rawtenstall Station to ensure everything is working OK, ready for the return of the cafe coach.
