um... actually, it is Rocket Science!
- at Castlecroft Museum, this Tuesday 30th April
Dear all,

This coming Tuesday, at the Museum, we're hosting the Secondary School Rocket Car Championships. Students will be arriving at around 10:00, be making their rocket-powered vehicles in the Museum, then firing them around 12:30 – 14:30.

The rocket-firing track will be the area between the two sets of white level-crossing gates, to the side of the Museum. This normally gives parking for about ten cars. On Tuesday, there will not be any parking along there.

Also, this area needs to be closed even to through traffic for the period of the rocket firing, so, there will be very restricted access to Casttlecroft Yard, either in or out, from 12:15 until 15:00.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, realising that Tuesday is when so many staff and volunteers need to park at Castlecroft. However, this is an exciting event and it's great that the Museum will be hosting it.

It promises to be great fun - so come along to watch if you can.
