All five of us in today, John, Jonathan, Len, Clive and myself, The fire alarm call points testing was started again after the Flying Scotsman previous two weekends, all worked fine and the results logged.
We got the mobile tower scaffold out and replaced the round fluorescent tube in the BBS Station clock which Clive had ordered a few weeks ago, but until now could not be replaced, again due to all the visitors we have had. Max will now be happy!
The scaffold was then dismantled and loaded onto the DMU going to Ramsbottom Station were it was unloaded and re-erected to take down half of the canopy lights. These were the taken back to our workshop for conversion to LED lighting and to have the covers and metalwork repainted.
The canopy lights were converted to LED lighting and now await rubbing down and cleaning ready for a repaint in the next couple of weeks, they will then be replaced and the other three remaining canopy lights taken down and the refurbished ones refitted.
John had provided the jam sponge cake, ASDA's finest washed down with a brew.

if you have time on Saturday, please can you have a look at the Karcher power washer at Castlecroft - no power seems to be getting to it?
