David Hennessey's Train World

Post by The Amateur Basher »

My long-standing fotopic site, containing various images of steam, diesel and electric locomotives. Regular East Lancashire Railway content also featured.

Comments welcomed.

And to kick off:

Between Saturday 23rd and Sunday 31st October 2010, the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust's Peppercorn pacific 60163 Tornado made it's first ever appearance on the East Lancashire Railway. The 2008 built loco was visiting the line for a steam gala, and for working some of the October half term week services.

Tuesday 26th October saw 60163 out and about, at various points along the line in miserable weather conditions.

Also out and about, and a visitor from the Midland Railway Centre in Butterley, was BR Caprotti Standard Five 73129, sharing the half term week services with 60163.

The collection is here: http://www.davidhennesseystrainworld.fo ... 10686.html

Please note that due to the weather conditions, my pictures may not be up to the usual scratch, and I convey my apologies for this.
