MOSI Gathering

Post by 33109 »

Hang on then if the duke's attending how are they gonna get her on site? The only main line connection I know they've got is at liverpool road & I doubt the bridge is that strong anymore?

Will be great to see the hymek down there so take it D7076 will have to be transported to MOSI on lowloader then? Any chance of it been started up at all?

You had better tell them about the bridge then, was certainly strong enough last year when the locos for 1T57 were stabled there overnight!

957 ironclad

Post by 504 »

just to let you all know, is that the "Duke" will not be attending due to over running boiler work.
D7076 is due to move to event today.
As a replacement for the Duke we have managed to get
Lanc & Yorks "IRONCLAD" 957 from the KWVR this is a beyer-peacock locomotive so will fit in to the event nicely.
It is due to be in steam at the event.

dont forget that ELR are having a stand at the event
