:D Another beautiful day down on the East Lancashire Railway stewarding on the steam train hauled by Andy Booth,s loco, Douglas pulling five carriages. :)

The diesel diagram was hauled by the freshly restored and painted in BR blue warship class Onslaught masquerading as D818 Glory and very popular it was with many admirers coming from far and wide to ride on the loco.. 8)

The first train left on time at 10:00 hours with a moderate number of customers greatly increased by Caravan Club members at Burrs Halt, we then proceeded onto our destination of Rawtenstall.

The return trip to Bury Bolton Street Station was on time and the carriages were all cleaned and disinfected ready for our new customers on the 12:30 hours service.
Lunch was taken in the mess room with a nice cup of coffee provided by the cafe, it was then back on the carriage for a return to duties. :)
The mid train of the day was well supported with again plenty people boarding the train at Burrs Halt.

The final train of the day again left on time at 15:00 hours and returning to B.B.S just a couple of minutes late, back next week for some more stewarding on the ELR. 8)
Deep in the heart of Swinetown.
