The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 13-01-2019.

:D Five of us in today, Jonathan, Clive, Colin, Len and myself, on another cold and wet day, first job was to test the fire alarm call points, tested by Len & Jonathan all was OK apart from the toilets on platform two being out of use until the drainage is sorted out, so these call points can't be tested as they are locked up. :(

When Len & Jonathan came back from testing out the fire alarm call points we had a brew and a piece of cake each provided by Len, we then sourced a ladder and the boxes to stow away the Christmas lights which needed to be recovered from Ramsbottom Station. 8)

The next train was boarded the lovely and warm DMU to Ramsbottom Station, on arrival two strings of Christmas lights were taken down and stowed in their respective containers. :)

Lunch was then taken back in our workshop with a brew and M & S cream cakes provided by Sue, MMMmmm. :D

The final job of the day was to recover the Christmas lights from platform two at Bury Bolton Street Station, then all the boxes containing the Christmas lights were stored away in our workshop.

A final brew was had with some French fancies provided by Mr Kipling via Colin, just the lights at Heywood Station to recover now, a job for next week.

An early dart was the order of the day as weather was deteriorating and Man U match with Spurs was on the cards at 16:30 hours. :o
