:D I was late after travelling back from Teeside after watching Wigan get beat away again, Jonathan, Clive, John and Len had tested the fire alarm call points and recorded the results. :)

When i arrived at Bury Bolton Street Station just before the anniversary of the armistice on this day 100 hundred years ago when millions of people had lost their lives in the horrific war first world war.
Staff and some of our customers gathered around the memorial plaque on the overbridge at BBS Station, words were spoken by our general manager Tracy, wreaths were laid and the minutes silence was observed on the station masterss whistle.

I rang Len and John to find out were they were after checking our workshop and finding it empty, i got a reply to say they were erecting the Christmas lights under the canopy at Ramsbottom Station.

In the meantime i went up to the Bury Standard 4 Group carriage shop at the end of platform two to have a chat and help out till the rest of the crew got back from Rammy.

John had brought in one of ASDA's special jan & sponge cream cakes for us to devour with our brew.
Next week a couple of lights on the overbridge require looking at along with the lamp post lights on platform two at BBS Station. :o

Let's hope the weather is a bit more kind to us next week!!!
