Jonathan, Jack, Len and myself, Clive today. Fire alarms in The Trackside and main station building were checked as per usual. A charging cable had got seared at the far end of platform 3. So the bad piece was excised and all made good. Caught the diesel up to Ramsbottom and took down the last four lamp-heads for refurbishment with Jonathan's magic paint brush. Then lunch. A visit to Standard Four to fix a lamp in the pit. Returned with a faulty grinder. Turned out to be a broken cable. Begger of a job accessing and fixing. Then replaced fuse in our 110 transformer so we could test the grindermebob. An early finnish.
