Jonathan, John and myself today.
Repaired: A couple of water boilers. A grinder. Some of the Christmas lights ready for next year. A flu light in 26B. Didn't repair the farthest lamp standard on platform 3/4 as it was too busy. Flying Scotsman! Talking of which, why were we not on the Northwest news? Steam Rally at Astley was.
Also discussed getting the collars sawn off the tops of the new lighting standards on platform 2; so that we can fit lights on them. The wiring to them has been done.
See you all on 27th. Radio competition on Ashurst Beacon next Sunday. Sorry, no eggs!
