:D A full team out again today, Jonathan, John, Len, Clive and myself, we had a swift brew and then did our usual checks on the fire alarm call points in The Trackside and Bury Bolton Street Station concourse.
Everything worked satisfactorily and the results were recorded in the log books. 8)

I attended a board meeting of The Bury Steam Locomotive Co. Ltd. in the FXP building whilst the rest of the team finished off installing and testing the electrical door operating system we had wired up lat week.
All three entry buttons were tested to ensure the electrical unlocking system worked correctly.

In our workshop we had been left a maintenance sheet reporting that a water boiler in the cafe/coach at Rawtenstall Station had stopped working.
We took with us a spare water boiler in case we could not repair the boiler onsite, on arrival at Rawtenstall if was found that during the cold weather the filter in the water heater had split. The boiler was disconnected from the water supply and brought back for repair in our workshop.
Someone had delivered a spare water heater so our spare was also returned to stock, we left a note for Simon the full time ELR electrician to order the necessary spares for the heater so that we can effect a repair and return it to the cafe. :)

Lunch was taken in our workshop with cakes supplied by Len & Sue washed down with more tea. :D

I had rubbed down and knocked out the dents on one of the lamp heads from platform 3/4 at Bury Bolton Street Station we had been removed for refurbishment a couple of weeks ago.
Jonathan painted the lamp head and epoxy resined the what were once captive nuts in the top of the lamp head, this lamp head will be put back in place next Sunday.

The team will be back next week for more electrical shenanigans in and around the ELR. T.T.F.N.

It is the East Lancashire Railway AGM current members only this coming Tuesday in Bury Town Hall with The Bury Steam Locomotive Co. Ltd, AGM on Thursday in the FXP building at Bury Bolton Street Station, shareholders only by admittance. :)
