The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 16-7-2017.

Post by asbibby »

:D All five electrical volunteers turned up today, Len, John, Clive, Jonathan and myself, the egg man Clive was eggless due to the Ladies of the lake hens not performing as usual.

We were on vacuum cleaner duties two upright cleaners had there cables cut off presumably because they had ceased to work.
We fitted new leads and plugs, cleaned out the turbo units and filters, then tested them both now seemed to work OK so they were placed into stock. :P

The next task was to replace some four foot tubes in "Tate Towers" with LED tubes, this was done and the lights tested.

Lunch was then taken outside of our workshop in the sunshine washed down with plenty tea but no cake today.

Two lamp heads were then stripped down to their component parts, rubbed down, cleaned then painted.

The water heater which we had changed a control valve a couple of months ago now appears to have another fault, i.e. the water overflow mechanism does not seem to be working.
More investigation is needed to find out what part requires replacing.

Back next week for some more enlightening news. :D

See how much more was done when cake wasn't involved?

There must be a direct correlation between cake and output...
