A full compliment of electrical volunteers turned out on Easter Sunday, it was a cold wet day so we decided to focus on work in our workshop in BBS.
After a swift brew we PAT tested a model railway controller for the BS4G shop, it required a new plug top which was fitted before being tested OK.
We then fitted a new water valve to a Lincat water heater and PAT tested it, this will now act as a spare for BBS platform 3/4 buffet, it will require testing in situ eventually
A eight foot tube was then replaced in the BS4G workshop along with a new five foot tube.
Lunch was then taken along with another brew.
Due to the weather being so bad we then decided to catch the train and go for a ride up to Heywood Station hauled by the Pacific, City of Wells locomotive.
A problem with the heaters in the Ladies toilets on platform three/four was resolved with the thermostat being turned up a little. The heaters had been reported to us that one of them was not working.
One final brew was partaken of washed down with a chocolate and coffee swiss roll, curtesy of Bury Market on Friday, very nice it was, i shall be back.
We all had an early dart back home to friends & family, back next week for some more electrical shocks!
