The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 05-03-2017.

Post by asbibby »

:D We had a full compliment of electrical volunteers in today, Len, John, Jonathan, Clive and myself, after a quick brew it was up to the carriage and wagon workshop to replace a hi-bay lamp which had expired.
A spare bulb was found and the long extension ladder sourced to enable us to change the lamp, the volunteers in the carriage and wagon workshop were pleased with the result, shedding light on the vehicles that were being worked on.

It was then back to our workshop as Clive, John and Len were due at Tate Towers for their medical, all passed with flying colours and we met back in the workshop for some lunch and a warming brew. :P

A kitchen cupboard in our workshop was then re-attached to the wall in our kitchen area, this cupboard had become detached a few weeks ago, it won't come adrift again as some additional brackets were fitted and screwed to the wall.

Next task was to fault a water heater from one of the buffet bars, a couple of faults were found one of them being a replacement water valve which is required, a note was left for Simon to source a replacement part. :)

A final brew was partaken of with a slice of walnut cake each, we then packed up and called it a day.

Looking forward to next week and the ELR Spring Gala.
Deep in the heart of Swinetown.
