All five of us were in today, Len, John, Jonathan, Clive and myself, after a brew and a few biscuits each, brought in by Len, we then contacted Bury South signal box to put a block on the line out of Bury Bolton Street Station, platform two.This was to facilitate us changing some of the lamps which had blown on the authorised walking route in Bury North tunnel, we changed four blown bulbs for corn LED bulbs and changed one bulb holder from a bayonet fitting to an edison screw fitting to match all the other five light units.
Lunch was then taken outside of our workshop finished off with a large Bakewell tart shared between all five of us.
The lamp covers from the Trackside were then finished off after being painted from green to black, these will be fitted in the Trackside pub/cafe in the near future.
The workshop was then give a clean up after a final brew and some more biscuits., back next week for some more fun.
