The Electrical Volunteers' report Sunday 7-12-2014

Just Alan and myself today. Jonathan and Len weren't well and John was otherwise engaged.

We replaced the last of the blown bulbs in the Christmas lights at Rawtenstall. So that's it for this year. Any outages will have to wait till next December. We obtained the key for the cafe carriage. The breaker had tripped last week. So we reset it and reconnected our Christmas lights to it.

Replaced two popped tubes and starters in the Santa Sales Coach Platform 4.

Sorted some electrical bits and pieces that had been donated.

Ground off some more rust from the "Nuneaton" light fittings that we are refurbishing. Then a first coat of black paint. For some reason Alan voted me to do the painting. Clive and paint just do not mix. But I managed.

A brew and a piece of cake and it was 4 o'clock.
