The above tour will be running from Rawtenstall to Cambridge featuring ELR flagship loco 40145 throughout, also a possible mini tour to Stanstead Airport should there be sufficient support. Please follow this link for the booking form: http://www.cfps.co.uk/cambridgenonmembers.pdf

Received a text from a friend on board that the 40 had failed at/near Grantham and the 67 on the rear has gone on the front with Stansted tour cancelled due delays.

Very sad news; hope the 40 failure isn't serious.

The tour is being towed back to the ELR by the 67, 55022 RSG is going to meet the tour at Castleton as far as I know. No other information as far as I know of is available yet.

Although I was not on the tour I can confirm that No.4 traction motor has suffered a flashover. Info from Lee Kenny on the loco not speculation and rumour from the net.

All the best to the CFPS and getting 40145 and D335 back into action.
