Compass have announced that 3 of their tours picking up in this area will be steam hauled. They are Crewe-Scarborough (steam ex Carnforth with Keighley and York options) on 03/04 Southport-Llandudno Jcn, Bangor & Holyhead + Anglesey coach to Beaumaris (steam throughout) on 29/05 Barrow-Stratford...

Compass Rail Tours 2013

Doubt that you moved the topic but more likely that one of the admin team moved it as it is an electrical discussion.

Would it not have been simpler to provide an entirely new route / run for the replacement wiring thus saving the effort of removing the old stuff?

Will we have a chance to get any leaflets / flyers / Tour Guides / BTM Guides etc onto this train BEFORE it leaves Euston? Thus informing the visitors of what is available on ELR and especially about the BTM which we have to push so hard (but successfully so far).

There is a buried duct linking the two huts laid about a month ago by the PWay gang.

I think the entrance and exits are on the corners nearest to the railway line and should be visible from inside each hit. Maybe a bit of flooring needs moving?
