I would not be suprised to see this change and steam come on at preston, steam through oxford rd I have never seen in preservation, others have been following main line steam a lot longer than I and have not seen any pics of a steam tour through oxford rd piccadilly corridor, bit no doubt I will be ...

There are various stories that 22 has gone on hire to gbrf to work in the north east on freights. Can anyone confirm full details. If so this will be one of the biggest events in diesel preservation

reason for strange route is that it was going to carnforth first to collect newly painted coach and then via smithys branch line to kwvr I believe
