So I can make an electronic mech to replace the broken clockwork one. I've got it all working now. Just wants bunging in a suitable ...

So that's what you get up to when I'm away. Cake, cake & more cake. By the way, what's worth seeing in the back of the carriage shop?

Re: ELECTRICAL VOLUNTEERS REPORT SUNDAY 24th JULY 2016

We've used LED strip-lights which don't have the problem of "flicker" posed by fluorescent lighting.

Re: ELECTRICAL VOLUNTEERS REPORT SUNDAY 21st FEBRURY

The nameless paid employee shall be named. His name begins with "S" and ends with "imon" !!¡ The clock was very difficult to "cobble together" because somebody (who shall indeed remain nameless) didn't make enough notes on how it worked before dismemberment. By the time...

It has to be recorded that the repair to the Rammy Platform lights is only temporary to get us through the Sants season. The link cable will then have to be removed pending a proper fix.

Re: The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 21-06-2015.

I was hoping to obtain the double sided drum clock at Victoria Station (Manch) It's no longer there as they're altering th...

The Electrical Volunteers' Report Sunday 14-12-14

A full team today. Off to Heywood with the trusty scaffold and tools to replace blown bulbs in the platform lights. All mended ok except two with faulty ballasts. These will be fixed at a later date. A few blown Christmas string bulbs replaced whilst we were at it. Back at the workshop, some more wo...

The Electrical Volunteers' report Sunday 7-12-2014

Just Alan and myself today. Jonathan and Len weren't well and John was otherwise engaged. We replaced the last of the blown bulbs in the Christmas lights at Rawtenstall. So that's it for this year. Any outages will have to wait till next December. We obtained the key for the cafe carriage. The break...

We haven't got any more Christmas lights. The ones at Rawtenstall are designed to greet you as you step off the train.

Re: The Electrical Volunteers Report Sunday 9-11-2014.

Can you please requote that cpc number. 96872 matches no products and cpc usually have two letters at the beginning e.g. TL96872 (which doesn't work either!!)
