Re Platform 3/4 drum clock. Are both sides 2 minutes slow?
Annoyed about that as I so-called checked on the BST to GMT change over.

Myself and Alan were off today. Only Jonathan, Len and John in. From what I hear: They fixed the fire alarm in The Trackside (I had given John 2 new Lead/Acid batteries earlier in the week on the assumption this would be the problem). Really, please credit us with a modicum of common sense. What we actually do is test call point one. Then miss one and test call point three. Then, we miss a week or two and wait for someone to ask which call point will be tested next!

Quite the contrary. I never seem to get to finish my brew. Someone or something always seems to come along to divert my attention (easy) and I forget about it. That's why the cup(s) get so stained. Left over tea in 'em.

I'm thinking a dry mix of sand and cement. It'll soon get damp and set in the bottom of the lamp. I'll see if we can get some creosote down first.
