No, the ro or other appointed would have to collect the token from Bury south on arrival of the incoming train from heywood, and then either use a loco as taxi or more probably go up by car to operate Hopwood gf with said token and sort out green lane crossing. Depends on who/what is available, and ...

A 40 on 'the branch' again...........(well nearly). All this to turn the stock so that it faces the same way on its return as it did going out - now if we'd ever though thought of requesting this as a mini-tour think how many we could have got on it...........................
