Also interested why 71000 requires a diesel for a light engine movement South ? Can anyone shed any light I asked the very same question of the 71000 trust and i was told its cheaper to have it dragged than to go under its own power??? The group have decided that all light loco moves will be hauled...

I can confirm 6115 was not a the works this morning and there is no evidence that anything has been moved in the yard or the works from where i left it on Thursday. So i think it is just a roumer.

47324 has LG4 and cast iron piston packings, made to the same design as the old LMS / BR ones. The 4F had the half moon style with the spring round and we replaced the cast iron ones with LG4 as they seemed to last longer. I am not sure what WCRC will use in their loco's.
