As usual 44871 bulled up for the "Hush Hush" excursion from Hellield at 10.50 am Tuesday 28 Sept to Carlisle for Howdens, what a superb sight !

I hear that Feb 2011 is the soonest date back on the main line,how is 70000 now ??

All I wanted to know was / is the state of 46115 as now ,not too sure if I dare ask ,shame really I am sure that lots of ELR members have had the pleasure of riding behind it

Maybe one reason this is talked about is because you can usually get a reply to queries about it , not like a few E L R items with a ban/silence/nod nod wink wink,you know what we mean when I am sure the majority of the readers of this forum have not got the faintest idea.......

I see that 71000 is booked on an excursion from Manchester to W.S.Rly on Sat 13th March, but no more details, any body out there any details of organiser for this, cost, times anything .............please This is one trip I fancy
