Moving house shortly and I would like to put a lamp in the garden, but I’m struggling to trace a supplier of that style of lamp fitting. Any help or...

Re: IPhone 6 Apple iOS 8.1.2

Mines the same - I have to re-log in every time. Very frustrating, but I've kind of got used to it now (at least I'll never forget my password)!

Re: Right section?

I have photos submitted for my next book project showing E3003 being hauled by one of the two Class 25s which were based on the line at the time and I think D335 may also have hauled the Class 81 over the line as well. As someone who personally knows Les Ross (the person, not the locomotive), I know...

I do wonder sometimes if people ever look for the wider picture before thinking things are suppressed! TV and film companies pay to use our land for a variety of productions and reasons and they can use the footage however they like. Some will happily mention and promote the railways while others ch...

Suspect this is in the wrong section, but totally agree with the sentiments made by Shredder. The SELNEC guys were fantastic and brought a fantastic collection of buses to Bury yesterday and the free shuttle (which was originally planned to be free for anyone with a rail ticket, but I think they let...

Well this particular ELR person hasn't got a clue as haven't been in since Friday. If it came in for repairs, I'm not aware of it, but that isn't to say it didn't come to Bury. I'm sure someone can confirm and will do when they come onto this forum.

But to me the Mainline section applies to locos such as 44871, 45407, 71000, 40145 and 55022 - the ELR based main line registered locomotives. The Cotton Mill Express does pass through East Lancashire, but not the East Lancashire Railway and I really believe as David L and Dave Peacock have already ...

Just to confirm 6201 has not been onto ELR property since August last year - it was not sneaked onto the railway during the diesel weekend at any time.
